Vanity & Ego
Discuss these questions in relation to a group creating a design in collaboration
01 – Are you capable of being vain about your art & design?
yes you are. when you are half way done with a design and change the whole idea/ concept because you just don't like what you have done with it
02 – Do you have a healthy ego?
yes i believe i do, i consider myself wit ha normal ego and don't go thinking my ideas/ design are better than anyone else's
03 – What defines an unhealthy ego?
a person who is stuck up and self centered and think their ideas or design are the best, a 1 man team player
04 – When others want to change your ideas, do you get offended?
no i don't get offended, i am open to feedback from others
05 – When you are asked for opinions on other’s work, do you compare it to your own?
if it is of a similar design aspect/ style yes i will a tad bit, but other than that no
06 - When you are asked for opinions on your work, do you compare it to others?
again if it is of something in the same area/ style as everyone else i will compare the ways we have depicted the design.
07 – If somebody plagiarized your work, would you be proud?
if it is a exact copy, no i wouldn't because that is just plagiarism, but if they have changed it quite a lot i wouldn't mind to much
08 – What is the difference between pride in your work, and vanity about your work?
difference is with pride you are happy and feeling self accomplishment of your work, while vanity is your ego and no matter what you still think yours is better than anyone else
09 – Do you expect others to listen when you speak?
yes i do, because it is just polite to and good manners
10 – When somebody else speaks are you thinking about what you are going to say
next?
i do half half, i try to keep my head open so i can listen to what the speaker has to say and at the same time keep a note on what i will be saying
11 – Do you form opinions about others quickly?
Depending on what the opinion is for, but for a design it will take a few minutes for me to absorb it in and think of a good opinion/ feed back
12 – What percentage of you judgements about others talents are right?
aah i am not sure, because i don't judge others to whether or not they are talented or not

Blog questions: idea revolution
1 . Do you have a strong belief in your personal ideas?
yes i do, but sometimes when i get feed back or brain storm in a group the original idea changes and becomes better with the input form others
2. How do you evaluate your personal ideas over a period of time?
by planning each process or stages of the design or art work till i think it has enough touching on it.
3. How flexible are you in changing your mind about the value of your ideas?
i am very open, and don't mind changes little things about my ideas, its just when i am being hassled into changing a whole lot is when it is reaching the line.
4. How flexible are you in changing your mind about the value of others’ ideas?
again, i am open into taking and giving feedback/ opinions. i would give a person a response to their work and give feed back base on what i think might look nice or would looks good overall
5. Does hanging on to your old ideas block new ones?
yes, sometimes i may be all over 1 idea and get designers block on another piece of work i have to do.
6. Are you slow or fast in moving on when an idea has burnt out?
i don't dwell on them to long, if it has been over ruled i will move on, but keep a mental or physical note on the idea incase i want to go back and do it again later.
