my thoughts are that we learnt a bit more about one another within the 10 minutes we spent on the exercise, some of us have had a rough/ hard year with relationship problems and maybe some family issues.
i feel as thought others have picked up a bit more about myself and may have changed their point of view of how they think of me, but in a more positive un-judging way
Blog exercise
Professional discretion and judgement may relate to:
assessing when to keep quiet
being aware of and responding to different personality types
knowing when it is appropriate or inappropriate to share information
knowing with whom information should be shared
- accusing someone because of their looks/ clothes they wear
- deciding wether i want to go buy a drink or not
Extra
1. Add 2 items to the list above
2. Give a REAL example from your own experience to illustrate all 6 points
an example would be of me choosing what soft drink i want, either pepsi or mountain dew
3. What is the difference between “discretion” and “judgement” in your own words?
discretion is ones own choice to do something, while judgement is the result of the choice you picked to do
4. Why do you use these two things in a professional setting?
(explain by using examples)
discretion can be the way you wanted something printed or designed, while judgement could be your choice wether to go on with it or not
